Book balance of the account at the beginning of the account reporting period. It always equals the closing book balance from the previous report.

Balance type contains 10 registered codes. Its exact identifier is ExternalBalanceType1Code.
Specifies the balance type, as published in an external balance type code set. External code sets can be downloaded from www.iso20022.org.
Use the code with the applicable message version and implementation guide. A matching code value alone does not establish the same meaning in another set.
