Securities purpose contains 3 registered codes. Its exact identifier is ExternalSecuritiesPurpose1Code.

Specifies the underlying reason code for an SSI instruction, in the format of character string with a maximum length of 4 characters. The list of valid codes is an external code list published separately. External code sets can be downloaded from www.iso20022.org. External code sets can be downloaded from www.iso20022.org.

Use the code with the applicable message version and implementation guide. A matching code value alone does not establish the same meaning in another set.
