Fifth Third Bank 38 Fountain Square Plaza Cincinnati, OH 45263, USA
Account and provider responsibilities
Etail provides the merchant services and support described in your agreement. The acquiring bank and other providers are responsible for the services covered by their agreements. Your account documents identify the payment methods, responsible providers and instructions you must follow.
The merchant remains responsible for its sales, customer obligations, authorized transaction submissions and applicable security and network requirements. Etail is not a bank. A payment facilitator relationship does not itself create a bank deposit, lending facility or deposit insurance coverage.
Accepting documents or opening account access does not activate processing. The responsible provider must confirm activation. Funding, reserves and recovery remain governed by the accepted account documents and required separate authorizations.
You must be told who receives transaction instructions, initiates payouts, holds reserves and collects amounts owed, together with the applicable authority and service contact. Each party acts only within its own assigned role. Required approvals and separate authorizations must be completed before the affected function is used.
Applicable acquirer terms
Obtain and retain the provider terms supplied for your account before accepting them. The account’s registration, processing scope and applicable network requirements determine which documents are needed and when they take effect. Complete any required acceptance or registration before processing that requires it, and preserve the document versions and acceptance record.
This disclosure identifies the bank; it is not the bank’s contract and does not create or amend rights on its behalf. Only the applicable provider can supply or authorize its operative terms. Questions about those documents should identify the merchant account and service involved.
Where a direct acquiring agreement or registration is required, complete it within the applicable network and acquiring deadline. Your account documents must identify the accepted card categories, any permitted choice to limit card acceptance, the bank contact and payment terms. This disclosure adds no fee and does not replace your accepted fee schedule.
Acceptance of Etail’s terms does not by itself accept a separate bank agreement or authorize Etail to change the bank’s obligations. Mandatory acquiring or network requirements govern the activities to which they apply. If a required provider agreement is absent or inconsistent with your instructions, do not begin the affected processing until the responsible provider resolves it.
Network requirements
Follow the applicable card network rules and acquiring instructions for the accepted methods, customer disclosures, transaction handling, security and disputes. A network or acquirer may require a service restriction or cessation within its lawful authority.
The Visa rules have geographic and product specific scope. An account agreement and current acquiring instructions provide requirements beyond the public overview. The reference below is not an endorsement or certification of Etail.
