United States funding arrangements
This schedule covers USD payouts to approved United States bank accounts for United States merchant accounts. It applies only when included in your Merchant Service Order and confirmed by the responsible funding provider. Your account’s payout terms must identify that provider, the receiving account, processing cutoff, time zone and any agreed variation.
Etail may coordinate and report funding only within its assigned authority. This schedule does not appoint Etail as custodian, authorize investment of funds or create a deposit account.
Payouts can be initiated only from funds available under the accepted account terms. Estimated timing does not override a return, reversal, lawful hold or reserve. Changing payout frequency does not make unsettled funds available sooner.
Your payout schedule
Your accepted account terms identify when card or ACH funds become available, how often payouts are initiated and any conditions for the first payout. Account verification, risk restrictions, returns, bank holidays and an authorized hold can affect availability or receipt.
Confirm the applicable schedule before processing begins. Any change must follow the notice and acceptance provisions in your account agreement. Weekly, monthly or manual payouts require agreement and provider support. This schedule does not include instant payouts or accelerated settlement.

- Your card settlement schedule
The availability period and cutoff are specified in the account terms confirmed by the funding provider.

- Your ACH processing terms
ACH availability and return rules are separate from card settlement. Later returns remain possible.
- Payout frequency
- Your agreed payout schedule
Payouts are initiated from available funds at the frequency enabled for your account.
- First payout
- Your account’s initial payout conditions
Account activation, verification and applicable funding restrictions must be satisfied.
- Bank receipt

Availability and initiation are not guaranteed deposit dates.
From settlement to bank deposit
The available payout amount starts with eligible settled transactions and accounts for properly applied fees, refunds, disputes, reserve movements and prior balances. Each adjustment must have a traceable reference and contractual or legal basis. The same obligation must not be deducted twice.
Business days are Monday through Friday excluding United States banking holidays. Transactions after the recorded cutoff enter the next processing day. An initiated payout is not proof that your bank credited it.
Your payout records must show the period covered, transaction or batch references, adjustments, payout amount, transfer reference and status. Any correction must include the reason and the original references.
Bank details and failed payouts
Use the secure account process to establish or change the receiving account. An email alone does not authorize a different payout destination. Keep the account eligible to receive the applicable payments.
If a payout fails or is returned, the responsible provider must establish its status before a replacement is sent. We will assist with records available to us. Any related fee requires disclosure in your account documents.
Reserve notices and restrictions
A reserve or funding restriction may be required to address exposure from refunds, disputes, delayed fulfillment, fraud, unusual activity or a binding legal, network or provider requirement. It must remain within the responsible party’s lawful authority and the accepted account terms.
The reserve notice must identify the holder and decision authority, reason where disclosure is permitted, calculation, funding method, review arrangements and release conditions. It must distinguish reserve funds from an available payout. Reserve percentages and holding periods are specified in the applicable reserve notice.
A change must be recorded and explained where permitted. Immediate measures strictly required for a legal, security or network obligation may take effect before notice, with notice as soon as permitted.
The amount and duration must relate to the identified exposure, including financial deterioration or continuing obligations after closure. There is no universal reserve percentage or holding period. You may submit relevant information for review through the contact stated in the notice.
Fund or replenish an authorized reserve by the amount, method and deadline stated in the valid notice. Supply information reasonably needed to assess continuing exposure. The notice must explain any shortfall and permitted consequence of failing to fund it. Additional deductions or transfers must remain within the accepted authority; a reserve notice alone does not create a bank debit mandate.
Amounts owed and recovery
Recovery is limited to amounts properly owed for the identified merchant account, using lawful methods authorized by its agreements. The party collecting must provide a record of the obligation, calculation and credits already applied. These terms do not authorize recovery of another company’s debts.
A bank debit, guarantee or security interest requires its own valid instrument and authority. An account deficit does not create those rights automatically. Disputed amounts must follow the applicable account review process before being treated as final charges.
Within the accepted provider arrangement, you authorize settlement proceeds or reserves to be applied to amounts properly due for this account. Fund an authorized reserve as required by its valid notice and pay an invoiced shortfall by the accepted due date. The collecting party must identify the creditor and obligation, credit each recovery once and correct any overcollection. A request to return money paid in error must explain the error and amount owed. Collection costs apply only where the agreement and law permit.
A separate bank debit authorization must identify the originator, account and covered obligations, and address timing, notices, cancellation and permitted retries under applicable ACH rules. It must be accepted by a person with authority over the account, with a record of the accepted version, date and consent available to the merchant. Accepting this schedule alone is not that authorization. Revocation does not erase a debt; another lawful payment method may be required.
These terms grant no authority over affiliate assets, no right to reserve earnings and no security interest or personal guarantee. Such rights require their own valid instrument consistent with the provider arrangement and law.
Review, release and closure
The reserve holder must review the amount against remaining exposure and applicable requirements, and release funds no longer required under the agreed conditions through the approved account process. A release estimate is not an unconditional date while unresolved obligations remain.
Ending the service does not erase existing refunds, disputes or amounts due. Final accounting must distinguish released funds, remaining reserves and unresolved adjustments. Contact us about an unexplained difference or to request the applicable reserve notice.
An extension requires an updated reason and notice where permitted. Closure does not forfeit a reserve or require immediate release while valid exposure remains. Released amounts follow the account’s payout schedule.
Your account’s payout terms
Your accepted payout terms explain the schedule for your account, the responsible provider and how to obtain help with a transfer or discrepancy.
- Provider and destination
- You must receive the funding provider’s identity and a reference to your verified receiving account. Use the designated secure process for bank details; do not send full bank credentials in ordinary correspondence.
- Timing
- Your schedule identifies the currency, cutoff and time zone, business days, funds availability, payout frequency, first payout conditions and accepted variations. Funds availability, payout initiation and bank receipt are separate events.
- Adjustments and returns
- Your terms explain permitted deductions, the payout calculation, failed or returned transfers and any separate fee. A transfer’s status and trace reference must be checked before a replacement is issued.
- Responsibilities and support
- You must be told who initiates and reports payouts, how to reconcile them and where to raise a discrepancy. Any reporting deadline and its consequence must be disclosed.
- Account changes
- Changes follow the applicable notice and acceptance process. Bank details must be updated securely. Your terms explain the treatment of existing transactions, remaining reserves and final account records.
Your reserve notice
If a reserve applies to your account, you must receive a notice explaining its basis, calculation, review and release conditions. A reserve notice does not replace an acquiring agreement, bank debit authorization or security instrument.
- Account and holder
- You must be told which business and account the reserve covers, who holds it, who decides it, the governing provider agreement and Etail’s authority in the arrangement.
- Reason and calculation
- The notice explains the exposure or binding requirement and supporting reference, effective date, amount or percentage, calculation base, any cap and the treatment of the existing balance.
- Funding and replenishment
- The notice explains authorized settlement deductions or transfers, funding deadlines, shortfall calculations and permitted consequences of nonpayment. A bank debit requires a separate valid authorization.
- Review and release
- You must receive the review timing, conditions for fixed or rolling releases, treatment of unresolved exposure, any extension process and the method of release.
- Recovery record
- If a reserve is applied to an amount owed, the record must identify the creditor, obligation, adjustment references, amount applied, credits and remaining balance.
- Notice and review
- The notice identifies its recipient, delivery method and service contact. You may provide relevant information for review through that contact.
